Panasonic Cordless Phones

Panasonic KX-TAW, KX-TDA, & KX-TDA Business Phone Systems.
The Panasonic cordless phones that
are compatible with the KX-TAW, KX-TDA, & KX-TDA business phone
systems uses what is know as a Cell Station Technology that provides
cordless phone coverage in large areas, businesses, warehouses,
multiple building, and large homes with multiple cordless phones.
The Panasonic Cell Stations are
available in 2-port and up to 8-port configurations. What this
means is on the 2-port Cell Station configurations up to 2- cordless
phones can carry on a conversation at one time and the 8-port cell
station can carry on up to 8 conversations at one time.
Although the cell stations are limited to conversations per unit,
many cordless phones can be added to the Panasonic KX-TAW848 and the
KX-TDA and KX-TDE phone systems. For example the KX-TAW and
the KX-TDA50 phone systems can have up to 24 cordless phones on one
system although only 2 cordless phones can carry on a conversation
per cell station. For example if you have 4) 2-port cell
stations are connected to one system up to 8 phone conversations can
be carried on at once.
The advantage the cell stations add
to the Panasonic Cordless Phones is once again the coverage
they offer in large and multi dwelling business and homes.
Using the 8-port cell stations as
Panasonic Cordless Phones requires a proprietary card to interface
the cell station to the Panasonic Phone System. The 2-port
cell station requires a Hybrid extension card to interface the
2-port cell station to the Panasonic Phone System for use as with
Panasonic Cordless Phones.
